They’ve been around for 20 years and people who know them can’t understand why they aren’t bigger than they are ! Maybe it’s just the name of their band that’s holding them back ?

‘Elbow’, who formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, England in 1990 now have four studio albums and four EPs under their belt and each offering seems to be better than the last. ‘Seldom Seen Kid’ their latest album, won them the Nationwide Mercury Prize in the U.K. Stand outs include, ‘Grounds for Divorce’, ‘One Day Like This’ and ‘Bones of You’. So have a listen for yourself. Thanks for the heads up Sunny !

Excellent timing….i was just wondering why no one in Australia has heard of them, their alt Brit pop is certainly better then some stuff that actually has gotten air play here. And ‘Grounds for divorce’ is being used atm in the ‘House’ commercials on channel ten!
